Delivering much needed high-quality new homes
Hill, a family-owned and award-winning housebuilder, is pleased to launch a public consultation on plans to deliver new homes and associated infrastructure on land at Parsonage Road, Takeley.
As you may already be aware, the site had been granted outline planning permission in 2023 for up to 88 new homes and detailed planning permission for a 66-bed care home in 2022, meaning that the principle of development has already been established.
Hill has since acquired the site and is preparing to submit two planning applications for a total of 108 high-quality homes. Due to a lack of interest from care home providers, we are proposing that the previously approved three-storey 66-bed care home building is replaced by 20 new homes. This will assist in creating a sense of place and be more in keeping with the residential setting.
We are committed to delivering these much needed homes and are keen to engage with the local community to get your feedback on our proposals, before submitting an application to Uttlesford District Council.
